A huge 9-foot-long snake was released after becoming entangled in a fishing net in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, eastern India.

Footage filmed in Khunta on September 5 shows a snake rescuer cutting the common banded krait out of the netting.

Wildlife expert Vanumitra Acharya said the reason for such a huge snake to venture into villages is that their environment is being destroyed.

In the Khunta area, a member of the house saw a common banded Krait snake trapped in a net and could not get out. He immediately called the snake rescuer by phone and rescued the snake. The 9-foot-tall giant reptile was never seen before, so crowds knew it.

Wildlife expert Vanumitra Acharya says such a huge snake is coming into the population as the environment is being destroyed by the forest. This is a sign of danger to the environment and wildlife.

The snake must have been on the brink of death. Thanks to the rescue team, they have given life to such a giant snake and venomous snake.
