Video captured the moment of Tropical storm Ma-on causes floods of 2 to 4 meters high, engulfing many houses in Quang Ninh, Vietnam.
According to locals, Tropical Storm Ma-on made landfall in their area bringing heavy rain and strong winds. River water quickly rose and submerged many houses. Some houses were flooded up to 4m deep. People quickly moved to safety before floodwaters flooded their homes. About 600 houses were surrounded and submerged by flood water.
After the storm passed the flood water began to recede slowly.
Flood recovery work is underway.
