Authorities in the Philippines have evacuated around 1,800 residents as tropical storm Molave was due to make landfall today (October 25th).

Alerts were issued for several provinces in the Bicol and Calabarzon regions with storm Molave expected to hit later in the day while traversing the southern Luzon area, according to the national weather bureau.
