Footage shows muddy flash floods gushing through homes in Cagayan province, the Philippines on November 11 during Typhoon Vamco, also known as Ulysses.

Kaye Pamittan Quime, who lives on the village said the ankle-deep deluge flowed from nearby mountains surrounding the area after hours of heavy downpour.

She said: "This is the second time we're affected by the typhoon, we haven't even recovered yet from the previous one."

The weather state bureau said Typhoon Vamco will bring destructive winds and intense with at times torrential rainfall at the southern Tagalog region where thousands have been evacuated before it entered the country.

It is expected to leave on Friday (November 13) before heading to the central region of Vietnam.
