Hundreds of arrests were made as police violently disperse crowds of masked protesters in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece, on Tuesday afternoon (November 17).

Greek Police announced that all public gatherings of more than four in public places would be banned from November 15 to November 18, as demonstrators celebrate the 47th anniversary of the Athens Polytechnic uprising.
