On November 25, the Argentine media reported one of the saddest news for the football world.
The death of Diego Maradona made the newspapers of the world newspapers stop.
From there, only the state of health prior to his death, the autopsy, the inheritance, the tributes, the murals, tattoos, and even clouds with Diego shapes was discussed in Argentina.
The prosecutors who have been investigating the circumstances of Diego Armando Maradona's death a month ago are convinced that the neurosurgeon Leopoldo Luque and the psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov were the doctors responsible for the former football star's health and whether the medical board concludes that the death of "10" was avoidable, they will end up being investigated and prosecuted for "wrongful death".
Three judicial sources linked to the file reviewed the 30 days of the criminal case and confirmed that every day the impression they took from the house of the country San Andrés de Tigre where the top Argentine football idol died on November 25 .
"This was not a suitable place for the home hospitalization of a complex patient like Maradona and there were failures in his medical care that, if they did not exist, might have prevented this outcome," one of the judicial investigators told.
Although it still has to be confirmed with medical reports that are in process, another source mentioned that everything indicates that Maradona's health care in that house was "totally deficient" and that there was "improvisation."
Among the shortcomings already detected by the prosecutors is that the nurse who had to take care of Maradona the morning of his death acknowledged that she did not enter the room because he had thrown her out and that she wrote a report with false information about her controls that she did not carry out .
In addition, only on one occasion did a clinical doctor sent by the prepaid medicine company check on "10" the day after he was released from the clinic where he had undergone neurosurgery, but when he wanted to make a second visit, they would not let him enter the country.
Nor was there in the house the necessary equipment for an emergency situation or an ambulance on duty with medical personnel, as the former football player had already had in other homes.
The autopsy confirmed that Maradona died as a consequence of "acute lung edema" associated with "exacerbated chronic heart failure."
Complementary studies to the autopsy already revealed that there was no alcohol or narcotic drugs in the body, but there was a series of psychoactive drugs that could be contraindicated for his chronic heart disease.
They also confirmed that there was no medication for his heart condition and that several of his organs were damaged.
Prosecutors hypothesize that if Maradona had been efficiently controlled, it would have been detected in time that he was accumulating fluids and the edema that caused his death could have been prevented.
