King cobra caught hiding under woman's bedroom drawers
This is the shocking moment a king cobra was found hiding under a woman's bedroom drawers.
The reptile was heard moving around when Supisara Sirivisut, 51, woke up in the night at her home in Chantaburi, Thailand.
She noticed its tail poking out and fled in a panic - immediately recognising the distinctive dark grey colour of the deadly cobra.
Supisara slammed shut the bedroom door and called her husband, who rang the emergency services.
Snake catcher, Nattapol Suegnam, and other member rescue team took 15 minutes to catch the cobra.
He said it was ''highly dangerous'' as the cobra was aggressive and would have taken any change it had to bite someone.
Nattapol added: ''Cobras will bite if they feel threatened. So it's best to get as far away from them as possible.''
The different species of cobras are responsible for tens of thousands of deaths each year across the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
