Hospital Covid pressure - brothers seek update on father's health
London, January 1st 2021. Two brothers at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, East London, complain that since Wednesday 30th December they have been unable to get an update on their father's health after he was admitted to Intensive Care on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a steady stream of ambulances arrives at the hospital's emergency entrance with yet more patients. The Royal London Hospital, according to a tweet from one of its doctors is "now in disaster medicine mode. We are no longer providing high standard critical care, because we cannot”.
