Clashes erupted in Eindhoven, Netherlands, on Sunday (January 24) as protesters took to the streets against lockdown restrictions.

Police fired water cannon and tear gas to disperse demonstrators.

On Saturday, a government-imposed curfew came into force, the first in the Netherlands since World War II.
