Dutch police continued to patrol the streets of Eindhoven on Sunday (January 31) amid fears of renewed violence.

Police vehicles and police officers on bicycles or on foot are seen in the city center of Eindhoven, as they are guarding the cities in the Netherlands against the fear of new violent protests that can lead to clashes, looting and damage as the previous days.

Politie had an intense presence and conducted a preventive search to random people who met the potential rioter profile criteria. Many cities like Amsterdam banned protested while others like Apeldoorn allowed controlled demonstrations.

Protests are held against the Covid-19 pandemic, the Covid curfew and generally the lockdown during the coronavirus era.
