A massive fire broke out in a barn in central India's Madhya Pradesh on March 23. The incident took place in the Papet village, located in the Shahgarh region of the Sagar district.

Visuals feature high flames engulfing the barn while clouds of dense smoke envelop the region. The blaze rages on and destroys the crops. High flames erupt from the area, ensuing panic among the onlookers. The locals rush to douse the fire but are unable to do so.

The locals alerted the fire department, following which fire officials from Banda rushed to the spot and gained control of the situation. The locals tried to douse the flames. However, the fire continued spreading due to the strong winds.

The barn owner, Umed Kakka, underwent a massive loss of property. Crops such as wheat and gram stored inside the barn were destroyed in the fire. Other than that, produce worth thousands of rupees also fell prey to the blaze.
