Swiss teen captures realistic looking spider created with visual effects
Watch this teenager apparently capture a terrifying spider - that he created himself using special effects on his computer. In the video Nik Kottmann can be seen using a treat on a string to lure an uncomfortably large spider out from under a cabinet before capturing it with a pot. While the spider may look real, it’s a clever CGI animation created by Nik. “People were unsure whether it was real or not and asked themselves how it was done,” said the 19-year-old from Switzerland. “This made them watch the video multiple times and write a lot of comments.” Nik became interested in visual effects while working on a school project in 2018.
This video was shot within March 2021.
