This footage was filmed and produced 24 May 2021.

The Belarusian diaspora, which includes a large number of political refugees, as well as other concerned residents of Warsaw, protested on the streets of the Polish capital.

Over the past week, the illegitimate government of Belarus has closed the largest media portal TUT.by, and later under the pretext of mining, snatched the plane in its airspace to detain the Belarusian journalist and activist Roman Protasevich, the former editor-in-chief of the telegram channel NEXTA.

Also last week, political prisoner activist Witold Ashurok died in prison. This is the first death in prison of a convicted person for participating in mass protests since the presidential elections in August 2020.

The recent events in Belarus cause a large-scale response from the European Union and the United States, even in comparison with the post-election events in the country.
