This the moment a man proposed to his girlfriend on a clifftop after flying in the engagement ring - on a DRONE. Jamie Hoskin organised for the device to swoop in and deliver a sparkler for his stunned partner Lee Parkes. He took her to a clifftop in Cornwall and told her the incoming drone was probably for the upcoming G7 summit. But little did she know her engagement ring would be getting dropped off. Jamie, 35, popped the question on May 29 - her birthday - on the grounds of the Polurrian on the Lizard hotel in Cornwall.

Asked how he arranged the stunt – Jamie, from Helston, told the BBC: “It was just one of my mates to be honest with you. We just sort of spoke about it and where we were going to do it. Originally, we were just going to go out on to the cliffs and he thought it would be a good idea to have a drone and bring it up over the cliffs. It just sort of materialised from there really. I said to her I’ve heard there’s a flyover because of G7.”
