3D printer with concrete materials made by Vietnamese students
This concrete 3D printed robot made by a group of students Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education manufactures. The machine is composed of: 1 robotic arm, concrete mixer parts, control circuit... Robot is controlled remotely, via computer programming software. It took a group of students eight months to build, with a cost of about 50 million VND.
Interview Made by Phuoc Bao Long – a student
Currently 3D printing technology is very developed, but only creating small models with plastic materials, so we had the idea to invent a 3D printer with a larger scale and raw materials. concrete. My group consists of 4 people, for the mechanical part, we bought the book and made it ourselves, and the engine used the engine available on the market to assemble and write the software to control the machine. The software is also written by us. Currently, the original idea is to create a house of 1 square meter, cylindrical, so we have installed in the software to create cubes and arcs. The hardest part is the control, as the operator has to manipulate all four motors, in order for the motors to work smoothly together. On the software, we have also set the acceleration, trajectory, and speed for each engine so that the machine produces the desired trajectory. As for materials, because my major is mechatronics, not construction, we also calculate a lot of materials to make the best product.
Interview Nguyen Doan Dang Khoa – manufacturing student
Creating this machine, we are very happy because we have gone through a lot of difficulties, this machine not only creates houses, I also hope to create decorations to beautify the house.
