This mechanic from Assam, India makes his Maruti Swift, an Indian car, into a replica of a Lamborghini on August 2 — well, kind of.

The "Lamborghini" replica isn't very close, but after 8 months and only £6,000 pounds, this isn't a bad effort at all.

The momentous mechanic plans to built a "Ferrari" next.

A mechanic from Assam has produced one of the most astonishing feats of car remodeling by modifying his old Maruti Swift into a replica of a Lamborghini. Md Nurul Haque, from the Bhanga area of Karimganj district of Assam, achieved this feat by spending over GBP 6,000 and completed the full modification in eight months.

Nurul is the owner of a garage called N Maruti Car Care, located in Bhanga in Assam. Not sitting idle in the Covid-19 induced nationwide lockdown, he decided to remodel his Maruti Swift. Haque first bought an old Swift and then deconstructed it by removing its parts. He then started building new parts by watching Lamborghini's designs and watching videos on YouTube.

Soon after being shared on social media, the pictures of the vehicle went viral. The Lamborghini replica caught the Internet’s eye and social media users heaped praises on Nurul for his innovative skill. Not willing to rest on his laurels, Haque has already set his next target which is converting an old car into a Ferrari.
