People spend the night on rooftops after floods suddenly inundated homes in Binh Phuoc, Vietnam
Hundreds people in Binh phuoc, Vietnam were forced to climb onto the roofs of their homes after they were suddenly inundated by floodwaters overnight on 31 August.
According to one local, they were sleeping when they suddenly discovered that water had entered their house.
They quickly moved to the roof to avoid the sudden flood. Their area was quickly submerged by floodwaters more than 2m (6.5ft) high.
It is thought to be the first time this area has flooded so badly. The flood has submerged hundreds of homes in the area.
Fortunately there were no human casualties and rescuers worked to bring the stranded to safety.
