Modern ways of protests donned the streets of central India's Madhya Pradesh on September 4, when women performed a ramp walk on dilapidated roads. This happened in Bhopal's Danish Nagar after heavy rains created massive potholes on the road, which were actively ignored by the local government.

Visuals feature women and children, all dolled up, walking amidst through the rainwater-filled potholes. They carry placards, seeking speedy restoration of the roads. The puddles cause ripples as they step into it while holding their attires.

These actions stand in contrast to MP Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chauhan's assertion that the roads there are better than the ones in the USA. This brought to the forefront, the frustration these people had to endure due to these dilapidated roads. Henceforth, the government must come up with immediate measures to restore them.
