Chinese acrobat writes calligraphy while keeping balance on pole
An acrobat wrote calligraphy while keeping balance on a pole in southern China.
Cool video filmed in the city of Mianyang in Sichuan Province on September 8 shows a 35-year-old acrobat named Zhang Guocheng using one hand to keep balance on an around 1.5-metre-high pole, while using the other hand to hold a brush to write a Chinese Character "Qin" on a piece of paper.
Zhang learnt martial arts when he was 6-years-old and went into the local acrobatics troupe. He combined Tai chi, martial arts and calligraphy together and created what he calls "high altitude calligraphy" himself.
