CCTV footage captures North Korean man's escape from Chinese prison as he climbs onto roof
CCTV footage captured the moment a criminal escaped from a prison in northern China.
The CCTV was captured in the city of Jilin in Jilin Province on October 18.
A criminal from North Korea named Zhu Xianjian, 39, is seen with a tool in his hand walking across an open space, climbing onto the roof of a canopy, before allegedly climbing over the high voltage grid and jumping over the prison wall.
Jilin prison issued a reward notice to arrest the escaped prisoner and he was eventually captured in Fuman District in Jilin City on November 28.
After his captured, Zhu was sent to hospital for treatment and he was not in a life-threatening condition.
