A devastating fire ensued panic and caused extensive damage to property in central India's Madhya Pradesh on November 5. The incident took place in Garhakota in the Sagar district.

Visuals feature massive flames scaling from inside the structure during the night while plumes of thick clouds of smoke emanating from the store begin to engulf the area. However, the alert locals douse the blaze and control the situation on time while the onlookers witness and behold the occurrence from a safe distance.

The fire broke out in the Rakesh grocery store due to some unknown reasons, causing damage to the store as it got charred due to the blaze. Besides, the ward councilor, Dinesh Laharia, alerted the Municipal Corporation employees after the incident. However, due to some delay by the Municipal authorities, Dinesh and some other locals took care of the situation by extinguishing the flames with the help of a fire brigade service.
