Rehearsal was done by setting fire to the bogie of a standing train on November 27 at Subedarganj station in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The "injured" imitating being trapped in the bogie in the accident were rescued. The team of NDRF and Firebrickets completed rescue mission with the help of the railway officials.

"Whenever such train accidents happen our team does everything possible to get all the passengers out. Mogexize is being done with Railways along with NDRF and other agencies. It's main objective is that all of us agencies work together to rescue all the passengers in the shortest possible time and save their lives. And so that they can get treatment at the right time and what are the shortcomings can be rectified at the right time, so that mock excise is being done".

"The main objective of the mockdrill is that we should be ready during any disaster and any difficulty so that it's rescue operation can be done as soon as possible. And if someone is injured, he can get treatment. If someone dies, we can inform their family and dedicate it to their family."
