Water leaked out of a hydropower plant, killing 7 in southern China.
Video filmed in Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province on January 12 shows buildings near the hydropower plant being submerged by deep water.
According to reports, the plug valve of a water pipe broke causing the water to rush out of the hydropower plant, flooding nearby shops and roads.
Eleven people were trapped in the plant. Two of them were rescued and not in life-threatening conditions, seven were killed and the other two are still missing.
