Dozens of students from Tamil Nadu, India, cower in a bunker-like structure to avoid Russian attacks in Kharkiv.

A student from Kharkiv Medical Institution filmed this footage of his colleagues taking shelter in a bunker on February 24.

He said: "Measures to ensure the safety of the students and to evacuate the country have been taken but still we are having spine chilling moments whenever we hear an explosion."

Medical Students who belong to India(Tamilnadu) hid themselves in a bunker-like structure with the help of locals in Ukraine. 


As Russia took military action in Ukraine, the Government  of Ukraine took measures like hiding the International students and the locals inside a bunker-like structure in the city to ensure the safety of lives.   


Around 5000 Tamil students are stranded in Ukraine.  One of the distressed students who studies in Kharkiv Medical institution has shared this video. 

He also said that "measures to ensure the safety of the students and to evacuate the country have been taken but still we are having spine chilling moments whenever we hear an explosion". He also said that due to Russia's military action they were asked not to venture out.
With fears these students are in constant touch with the Indian embassy.
