This is the touching moment a mother leopard was reunited with her three cubs after they were separated at a farm in northwestern India.

Workers spotted the adorable cubs alone in a sugar cane field on March 3 in Nashik in Maharashtra and immediately informed the forest department.

Officers arrived and decided to leave the cubs where they were discovered in the hope the mother would return.

They installed CCTV cameras so they could monitor the situation and were delighted when the mother returned that night and carried her days-old offspring away.

Three leopard cubs were reunited with their mother in western India's Maharashtra on February 28. The incident took place at Talwade village in Trimbak Taluka of Nashik district.

CCTV footage features the mother leopard arriving to reunite with her cubs in the field during the night. Upon reaching the location, she carries her cub one at a time and departs towards the forest area to avoid any mishap.

A couple of farmers spotted the three cubs in the sugar cane field and immediately informed the forest department. The officials rushed to the spot and placed the cubs at a place where they were found. They installed two CCTV cameras to keep a watch on their activities.

Following this, late at night, the female leopard arrived and took her cubs to another location. The Nashik forest department helped reunite the mother with her babies, aged just five to six days. Besides, the farmers were strictly instructed to stay alert as the leopard was present in the vicinity.
