Hundreds took to the streets of Lima to protest against Peruvian President Pedro Castillo's lockdown imposed on the city.

Footage from April 5 shows locals defying the lockdown order to march through the streets as inflation plunged the capital into chaos.

Castillo later lifted the lockdown in response to the unrest.
