A Liverpool fan gave away 300 boxes of mango sticky rice to celebrate the team’s eighth FA Cup win.

Chaowarin Rittidet, 43, treated neighbours and passersby to a serving of the popular Thai dessert in Khon Kaen province, Thailand on May 15.

The delighted football fanatic who owned a restaurant opened his shop to cook free food - as a way to celebrate his favourite team beating Chelsea to win the Emirates FA Cup for the eighth time.

Chaowarin said: 'It’s my way of celebrating, I want other people to share my happiness which I believe I can do by sharing the food I cook.'

Liverpool won in a 6 to 5 penalty shootout over Chelsea when Mason Mount missed his spot-kick. The team is set to face Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on May 28 but they are trailing Man City for the Premier League title.

Chaowarin added: ‘I hope they win again. Of course, there will be more free food for everyone if that happens.’
