A nine-year-old became the fastest to solve the snake cube blindfolded in southern India’s Telangana.

The incident took place in the Hyderabad district. The record was confirmed on May 2.

Visuals showed a young girl blindfolded solving a snake cube while her mother is timing her with the help of a stopwatch. The girl is seen solving the cube very quickly.

According to reports, Naishadha Sahu, a nine-year-old, became the first girl in India to complete the snake cube fold in nine seconds and twenty-seven milliseconds. She broke an earlier record of fifteen seconds and set a new one for first place in the India Book.

A student of class five, she herself bought snake cube folds from the market and started practicing continuously. No one had inspired the girl for this. When the daughter completed the cube with her eyes closed at home, her parents were stunned to see it. She is originally a resident of Bina district in Madhya Pradesh but is presently living in Telangana.

After this, Naishadha’s father Mohit Sahu contacted the India Book Records office in Delhi and sent the video of his daughter. The Book Records office officials saw a video of Naishadha solving the cube with closed eyes. This award was given to the girl child after a process that lasted for about a month.

Mohit Sahu said that apart from the India Book Record, he has also applied for his daughter’s inclusion in the Guinness World Records.
