Eyewitness video appeared to show a raid by UK authorities on a vape shop on Oxford Street on June 13 amid a recent crackdown on stores on the famous London shopping destination.

Footage captured outside "Vapes 4 You" showed authorities bagging up scores of vape pens and removing them from the shop.

American candy stores on Oxford Street have been under investigation for alleged tax avoidance and selling counterfeit items, according to Westminster Council.

Some of the candy shops also sell vapes that contain nicotine levels higher than allowed in the UK, as well as tobacco products with no warning labels, according to media reports.

Despite the footage of the raid, there is no suggestion that the business captured in this video has broken any laws.

In the video you can see a vape shop being raided by trading standards and Westminster council. Fake vapes are being bagged up and placed in evidence bags. Last week these shops were mentioned in the media about tax fraud and counterfeit items.
