Locals in Can Tho, Vietnam, have nicknamed these fish "cannon fish" due to their ability to shoot water at their prey.

Footage filmed on June 8 shows several of the fish spitting streams of water at a woman holding a cricket above the water.

The species are called archerfish as they squirt jets of water via their mouths at their prey.
