This wild gull strolled into an apartment after a woman opened her balcony door.

The homeowner sets up her camera before opening the door to allow the wild bird inside. The gull, named Winston, casually waddles over to the camera to inspect it.

The filmer said: "He has been visiting daily for several years - it takes four years for herring gulls to reach adulthood, and he was already a grown-up when we first met, so I assume he’s currently at least 8 years old. But he might be way older - they can live up to 50 years!

"Anyway, he’s definitely not a captive bird!"
