This adorable pet marmoset flicks its tongue out like a lizard while greeting its owners.

Video shows the wide-eyed primate named Sarah poking its proboscis-like tongue through its cage in Bangkok, Thailand on August 9.

Pet owner Irint Chinnapant said: 'I thought Sarah looked very funny when she played around with her long tongue. I guess she was trying to say hi.'

Male and female marmosets have been observed to rhythmically flick their tongues to solicit sex during mating season.
