A commuter train hit a tree, the driver narrowly avoiding being impaled
Our commuter train to London hit a tree at 70mph. Once the tree was cleared we proceeded to sevenoaks where we got off. On inspecting the damage it became clear that a branch had penetrated the train and had it been a foot higher it would have gone through the driver's face.
