Man's teeth damaged after biting screw found inside Chinese pastry
A man’s teeth were damaged after he bit into a mooncake that contained a large screw.
Video filmed in the city of Zhumadian in Henan Province on September 11 shows a man named Li holding a mooncake with a screw inside to show the camera.
According to Li, his relative gave a box of mooncakes to him during the Mid-Autumn Festival. After he took a bite into one mooncake, he found something very hard inside and his two teeth were damaged.
Li thought it was rock sugar but later found that it was a screw.
Li contacted the mooncake manufacturer to complain and their receptionist said they will report it to their management team.
The manufacturer said they have noticed the incident and were investigating the case.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
