A Squid Game star was in hospital today after dental implants went wrong - leaving him haemorrhaging blood.

Geoffrey Giuliano, who plays VIP 4 in the hit Netflix series, travelled to Delhi, India, for dental implants to 'get the perfect Hollywood smile' ready for season two of the show.

The 69-year-actor had the surgery on Monday but 'woke up in a pool of blood' this morning. He stumbled into the street begging for help with locals believing he had been attacked. They called an ambulance that rushed him to the nearest hospital, where he is was treated.

Geoffrey said: 'Squid Game was such a success I wanted to build on that. Everyone saw my hideously overweight backside in that famous scene with VIP 4, so I've been hitting the gym to get in shape and I decided to have four new molars to get the perfect Hollywood smile.

'The surgery seemed to have gone well but I woke up at 3:3am in a pool of blood and in extreme pain. The hotel staff were no help so I walked out into the street.

'My face was covered in blood so people thought I had been attacked and called the police. Then an ambulance came and rushed me to the hospital.

'Doctors finally brought the non-stop bleeding under control. Right now I'm resting. I'm dizzy and weak but I'm keeping on. The show must go on.'

Geoffrey, who lives in Pattaya, Thailand, is seeing further specialists to try and control the blood loss from the surgery in the subcontinent.

He is hoping for a role in the second series of the South Korean show, which became a global success last year.

Geoffrey added: 'This wasn't a cheap backstreet clinic. It's one of the best in India where all the Bollywood stars go.

'I'm almost 70 but I feel like 17. I could keep on acting for another decade or two.
