A cardroom collapsed seconds after customers were evacuated in central China.

Video filmed in the city of Suizhou in Hubei Province on November 14 shows a cardroom suddenly collapsing and customers running away from it.

Residents were heard saying in the video: "The walls are cracked in the cardroom."

According to reports, customers playing mahjong on the ground floor of the cardroom spotted the cracks in the wall and ran out of the building.

The structure then collapsed seconds after the customers evacuated.

A local resident said his house collapsed as well and four houses collapsed in total.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported. The evacuated residents have been settled properly and the cause is being investigated by local authorities.

11月14日15时许，湖北随州安居镇街边一处房屋突然发生倒塌。目击者拍摄的现场视频显示，市民一开始好奇地站在路边一处房屋前，能看出楼房一层摆放有麻将桌，是一家棋牌室。随后房子很快发生倒塌，围观者惊呼声连连。
安居镇一位居民介绍，他家的楼房也倒塌了，事发时他不在家中，他的爱人在家，“当时我媳妇听到声音从家里跑出来看到棋牌室那边房子倒了，后来一直倒到我家这边。”他表示，共有四户五间房发生倒塌，房子是两层楼，三楼有阁楼，他是五年前买的房子，这些房子建于上世纪八十年代末。男子还称，事发前他家房子墙面曾出现裂缝，此次倒塌的其他家房子也曾出现问题，他们曾向当地镇政府反映过。
11月15日上午，随县安居镇政府发布通报：2022年11月14日15时40分左右，位于随县安居镇老街上的4间房屋发生倒塌。室内人员在倒塌前全部撤出，没有发生人员伤亡。疏散撤离的群众已妥善安置。房屋倒塌原因正在调查中。
