A woman has claimed a cosmetic surgery op has left her with horrifying complications.

Diana Contreras underwent two drastic surgery procedures to slim down her face and alter its structure.

But the young woman says she was left with horrendous bruises that covered half her face - causing her excruciating pain.

Diana says she looks unrecognisable after receiving a plastic surgery procedure called a bichectomy, also know as "Hollywood cheeks" which is designed to narrow out the mid to lower part of the face.

The surgery promises more sculpted cheekbones and a better-defined jaw line.

She also underwent a double chin liposuction where fat is removed from the chin and neck.

Diana, from Mexico, was looking forward to seeing the results.

However soon after the procedure, she claims she was left with horrific side effects including bruises around her mouth and eyes.

She took to TikTok to share the alleged shocking results in a video that raked up over 5.6 million views.

Social media users couldn't believe their eyes and rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

"The first photo looks like a horror movie," one said.

Another added: "They must check that they are doctors with a speciality and check that they have their current licence since not everyone should do it."

"Oh no, I was just thinking about doing it. How scary," wrote a third person.

"How are you now? I got scared and worried without even knowing you," said someone else.

"That's why we must accept ourselves as we are," commented another user.

One said: "It happened to me, to half recover I had to go to therapy.

"Bichectomy and lipopapada surgeries are seriously complicated," Diana told NeedToKnow online.

"I compromised my health and my image for life.

"There were weeks of uncertainty to know what would happen to my face and the function of my mouth.

"I am not sure what triggered the complication of my surgery, it could have been many thing.

"I now fear of having something cosmetic done again."
