Tiles strike man's back after falling off house in China
Tiles stuck a man's back after falling off the external wall of his house in southern China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Lufeng in Guangdong Province on November 5 shows a man named Chen walking out of his house and sitting in front of it to wash clothes.
However, the tiles suddenly fell off his house onto his back.
Chen's back was hurt and he drove to hospital for a check-up later.
Fortunately, Chen's parents walked away when the incident happened and Chen's head was not injured.
Chen said the house has been built for 10 years. The incident may have been caused by weathering as sun exposure and typhoon Nalgae affected his place.
Chen has already hired workers to shovel away all the remaining tiles on that day.
Chen had a CT scan in hospital which confirmed that his body was not injured seriously. Chen is resting at home at the moment.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
