Boy avoids injuries after splashing water onto burning coal
Boy luckily avoided injuries after splashing water onto burning coal in eastern China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Rizhao in Shandong Province on November 20 shows an elderly woman in her 90s holding her 2-year-old grandson to walk past a honeycomb briquette stove.
Since the boy thought the stove caught fire, he ran to get a ladle of water and splash it onto the honeycomb briquettes.
The grandmother and the boy's father ran to pull the boy away from the stove immediately.
According to the boy's mother, the boy has not seen the honeycomb briquette stove and thought it was on fire. He splashed the water on it to try to put out the fire.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
