1,600 people eat beef soup from massive cooking vessel
A giant three-legged pot was used to cook beef soup for over 1,600 people in east China's Anhui province on Saturday.
安徽淮南建3.6米高大鼎煮牛肉汤供千人品尝
9月12日，安徽淮南1600名游客共同品尝特色小吃牛肉汤。当日，以安徽寿县出土的楚大鼎为原型创作的一座基座高0.8米、高3.6米、宽4米的大鼎为烹煮牛肉汤容器，由厨师加工烹煮的淮南特色美味小吃牛肉汤让1600名游客共同免费品尝，享受舌尖上美味。大鼎以1933年出土于淮南杨公地区，迄今已有2400年历史的楚大鼎为原型创作而成，鼎基座高0.8米，鼎高3.6米，鼎宽4米，佳鸟纹饰，牛首鼎足，青铜古韵，楚风飘逸。楚大鼎是现存周代以来最大最重的鼎，仅次于1939年出土的商代司母戊大鼎。1958年，毛泽东主席在观看楚大鼎时说：“这个大鼎，里面能煮头牛。”五十七年后，重雕并座落故乡淮南大地上，大鼎真的在烹煮一头牛了。当天上午，主办方向鼎中投放了黄牛骨360斤、牛肉280斤，再配上粉丝、千张、豆饼等辅料，一鼎煮沸。现场1600名游客代表和来宾代表共同品尝美味的淮南牛肉汤，诞生了史上规模最大的牛肉汤品尝活动纪录。
