A man has turned himself into a "sexy" Grinch and social media users are thirsting for him.

Taking to TikTok, where he has since gone viral, Mitchell Marsh from Newfoundland has decided to bring a whole new meaning to the Christmas character.

Dressing up in a furry green costume and yellow lenses – occasionally adding bauble nipples tassels for that festive effect – he has racked up over 710,000 followers.

And it seems people are definitely h*rny for the Grinch.

"I wanted to give people a bigger and more different side to the Grinch, I mean, he is lonely in the cave," the 36-year-old told NeedToKnow.Online.

"I am a fan of the film and love bringing the character to life and getting as close to the film as I can get.

"I'm just here to make adults smile, laugh and forget that bad Monday or any bad day in fact."

In one clip the entertainer's alter ego does a seductive dance in his favourite black thong, racking up over 14 million views.

In another video, Mitchell refers to himself as "daddy Grinch" and plays with a candy cane.

"The unexpected surprise we all didn’t know we needed," wrote one user under one of the videos.

"The most appropriate use of the Grinch suit," added someone else, with clapping hand emojis, suggesting they are absolutely fine with a sexy Grinch.

"Daddy?," asked someone else, adding a crying smiling emoji.

"Nooo, I watched this with my 2 kids," wrote one shocked user, who appeared to take the mishap in good faith, adding several crying smiling emojis.

"This was too good!!!," added another user.

"I want him, he wants me," wrote someone else, to which Mitchell aka the Grinch replied with a dubious-looking emoji.

"Omg j found you i love you," added another fan. [sic]

"Call me martha may," added another user, referencing a character from Whoville who has a crush on the green mean machine.

Someone else simply wrote: "Thicc." [sic]

"I’m reporting for inappropriate nudity jk," said someone else. [sic]

Unfortunately for fans, this Grinch is already taken.

Mitchell's wife Tash, 30, regularly gets involved in the fun, even slapping her hubby on the behind in one of his clips.

Just like the real Grinch – we know he's out there somewhere – Mitchell is a softie at heart.

Apart from using his costume to entertain people online and make others laugh, he also uses it in a more traditional way.

He added: "When I'm not on TikTok or other social platforms, I use the Grinch for charity events for sick kids.

"The world has enough doom and gloom, don't you think?

"Kindness can travel a lot further if you let it."
