This animal handler had his trousers pulled down after one of his ostriches attacked him.

Lester of Longhorn Lester's, a farm for neglected animals in Livingston, Texas, was filming when Carl the ostrich launched his surprise attack.

Lester told Newsflare: "Carl, our ostrich, was having a bad day and didn’t like the noise the seed spreader was making.

"He began an attack before we realized what was happening. Our only defence was to run.

"When we realized we couldn’t outrun the bird, we did what we’ve been trained to do and pulled the bird down from the neck to avoid the talon strike."
