Doctors hand out medicine for free as COVID-19 surge predicted in China
Kind dental doctors stuck fever tablets on a clinic's window for people to take for free in southern China.
In the video filmed in Gongcheng, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, fever tablet packs were cut into slices each containing four tablets and stuck onto the window of the clinic so that people in need could take them for free.
The sticker next to the tablets wrote: "Please don’t take if you don’t have a fever and please just take one slice for each person."
Since the COVID-19 restrictions have been eased in China, more and more people have been infected, but many of them have not been able to buy anti-fever medicine. The dental clinic happened to have some ibuprofen tablets, so they wanted people to have them for free.
The video was filmed on December 20 and provided by local media with permission.
