Footage shows activists protesting against the controversial Lese Majeste law in Bangkok, Thailand, today January 25.
The crowds of demonstrators gathered outside the Criminal Court in the Ratchada area of the capital. The building has seen a number of protesters jailed in recent years for criticising the country's monarch.
Thailand's Lese Majeste legislation, or Article 112, bans any criticism or insults towards the royal family. Offenders face lengthy jail terms, with a number of people being exiled or mysteriously disappearing.
