Woman goes viral as she panics while flushing out sinuses
A woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing a video of herself trying to flush out her sinuses, but it doesn’t quite go to plan.
Jillian Gottlieb, an actor from New York City, attempted to use a Navage machine that “flushes” out your sinuses and clears them of mucus, allergens, and germs.
But what should have been refreshingly clean, left Jillian panicked and wondering if there was salt on her brain from the treatment.
In the clip, which has racked up 8.7 million views and over 200,000 likes, she holds the machine up to her nose, looking rather concerned.
As she attempts to push the button which activates the water pressure, the panic on her face continues to grow.
In the background, the person filming reassures: “Just breathe through your mouth, breathe through your mouth, press it [the button] harder.”
After using the machine, a frantic Jillian leans over her sink with a tissue saying: “I can feel it in my brain, there’s salt in my brain!”
“Is my brain OK?”
Many viewers were left sympathising with her, with some claiming they had tried the machine themselves and also didn’t enjoy it.
One person said: “This thing didn’t work great for me. I felt like I was getting waterboarded with salt water.”
“I feel like some body parts just shouldn’t be messed with,” said someone else.
Another person added: “Worst purchase ever...damn thing almost drowned me every attempt to use it.”
