Awesome mini train takes guests on trip around cafe garden
An awesome mini train takes guests on a trip around a cafe garden.
Footage shows families and tourists onboard the red miniature locomotive at the Na Patum Cafe in Pathum Thani province, Thailand.
The train departs from the cafe and tours around paddy fields with tall palm trees, huts, and ponds. Children like to take a ride with their parents.
Cafe owner Weerayut Kongtong said: ‘I love trains so I think that the train would allow people to experience nature. Instead of just walking, we use the trains as a tool to let people enjoy the natural surroundings like the paddy fields and the sugar palm trees.'
The mini train cafe is only an hour away from the Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok which makes it popular among visiting tourists.
Owner Weerayut added the tracks for the mini trains were installed coinciding the Thai Children's Day on January 14 and received up to 600 customers per day.
He said: ‘But since the soil is soft and new, we are trying our best to deliver this service. We have to fix and improve the tracks every now and then.
‘I only have to thank my customers because even I did not even anticipate the popularity my cafe would be getting.'
The cafe is located near Thammasat University and is open from 10 am to 7 pm every day.
