A public restroom in central China requires users to scan their faces in order to receive toilet paper.

The video was filmed in the city of Wuhan in Hubei Province on February 11.

Footage shows a man named Li scanning his face in front of a machine and the toilet paper came out automatically.

Li said he feels like his face is an ID card. He can solve many things by simply scanning his face when he goes out, which is very convenient.

The video was provided by Mr Li.
