Officials inspect the rubble of a building that was partially destroyed by a missile strike in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine.

Footage shared by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on March 2 shows firefighters making their way into the damaged building.

According to reports, four people were killed by the strike and five are still missing including a child.

As a result of a Russian missile attack on an apartment building in Zaporozhye, according to preliminary information, four people were killed.

Five people are considered missing, including a child, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported on Telegram. "According to preliminary data, four people were killed, eight were injured ...", the report says.

The search and rescue operation continues. Under the procedural leadership of the Zaporozhye Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).Earlier, the secretary of the Zaporozhye City Council Anatoly Kurtev in Telegram said that three of the seven hospitalized as a result of the strike of the invaders on a residential building in Zaporozhye are in serious condition.As UNIAN reported earlier, the Russian military carried out another attack on the territory of Zaporozhye at 01:32, previously from the S-300 air defense system. One rocket hit an apartment building in the city center, the residents of the apartments were under the rubble, who at that time were sleeping peacefully.

As a result of the impact in a five-story building, more than 10 apartments from the 2nd to the 5th floor were destroyed. The debris and the blast damaged nearby houses.

The National Police reported that six wounded people and the bodies of three dead were released from the rubble. The State Emergency Service reported that 11 people were rescued (among them there is a pregnant woman) and 20 residents were evacuated from a neighboring entrance
