Hardworking teacher gives exams to pupils while treating asthma attack
A hardworking teacher gave exams to pupils while using a nebulizer to treat her asthma attack.
Abigail Jean Dulangon Arandia was sick but didn't want to leave the kids taking their tests without guidance at school in General Santos City, the Philippines, on April 19.
Footage shows the inspiring educator Abigail reciting questions in front of the class while the young students work on their papers.
Abigail said her body was asking for some rest but decided to push through to the weekend and brought the nebulizer machine with her.
She said: ‘I don't want to be a burden to my co-teachers. Our school enrolled many children and not enough teachers, so I made that decision.
'It would not be fair on them to miss out on their education because I was sick.'
She added that she was touched that kind and understanding pupils cooperated that day and behaved their best.
Teacher Abigail said: ‘Kids are energetic and my profession can be overwhelming. Even more so if I am sick. But the children that day were on their best behaviour to help me recuperate.'
