An artistic father paints amazing city nightlife scenes using only a dinner fork.

Footage shows the talented man using the cutlery to smudge colours onto his depiction of a busy bird's eye view of Bangkok in Thailand - where he and his family lives - on May 25.

He added touches of white, yellow, and neon pink, using the dinnerware to portray the bright city with speeding cars and clusters of buildings.

The parent also splashed hints of orange and pink onto the structures lining up the river for a more dramatic effect using the same utensil.

His proud daughter Saruta Lerttamsiri said: ‘Painting is my dad's hobby and it became our bonding time too.

‘He would create these beautiful paintings using unique techniques, including using a fork. He is my role model.'

His children seemed to have adopted his love of art as Saruta paints as well, while his son makes amazing visual art installations.

Saruta added: ‘We do our own things, but dad likes to paint nightlife scenes of Bangkok. He's really good at it.'
